Rockwell Automation South Africa is seeking the services of a sales support representative. The incumbent will be responsible for improving the efficiency of the Sales Team through delivering support functions

Responsibilities

  • Provide pricing & quotation support to the Sales team (including liaison with customer and RA teams where required) for standard products (including software).
  • Provide CRM data quality support and maintenance to the Sales team.
  • Provide first level support to the Sales team with internal RA processes and tools
  • Assist the Sales team with customer queries, including signposting to the correct department
  • Assist in reducing the administrative burden on Sales team.
  • Assist in providing a great experience for customers.
  • Good experience and understanding of Rockwell products, processes and tools.
  • Keeps skills and knowledge in all areas (organizational, technical, and commercial) up to date
  • Takes initiative in response to changing circumstances within the organization or markets

Experience Required For Support Level

  • Prior experience in customer support with a technology-based organization is a must
  • Capability to work remotely and on the telephone
  • PC knowledge MS Office Suite especially Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Daily use of CRM packages
  • Relevant degree or diploma
