The Role: Right Hand to the Founder Oceans is seeking ambitious candidates in South Africa to become what we’re calling the Right Hand to the Founder, a new hybrid role ideal for candidates with experience in operations, marketing, and/or finance. If hired, Oceans will provide best-in-class training on necessary processes and platforms alongside full cultural immersion — so you can become the most effective assistant you can be. You will then be paired with a powerhouse leader and embedded within their team, positioned to become their right hand over time. You will give them their time back, and they will give you invaluable exposure to the U.S. business world. Oceans’ Right Hands are not only are responsible for handling administrative duties like scheduling, filing, and research, they’re also equipped to flex their operational muscles by suggesting improvements, setting KPIs, assisting with strategy, gatekeeping their CXOs time, and tracking projects, tasks, and timelines from conception through completion. But don’t worry, we’ll train you how to do this and how to use your access to design the job you want!
