This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual seeking a challenging technical role in the financial industry. Our development team is the engine room of the data part of the business. Based in Montreal and South Africa, we are the data hub to our several offices and products, including many facets of our expanding flagship cloud-based product called Revolution. The candidate would be joining a decent sized team, and it would be a great opportunity to learn new techniques, pickup new skills, sharpen existing tools and most importantly contribute to a key part of the company’s core and future.
What skills and experience do I need to succeed?
- 4+ years software development experience in Microsoft .Net and C#
- 4+ years cloud development experience
- Having experience in database development is a strong asset (Oracle, PostgreSQL
- Fluent in English
- .NET Programming, C# – Skill Level >= “Advanced”/”Intermediate”
- ASP.NET – Skill Level >= “Intermediate”
- Cloud applications (AWS a plus) – Skill Level >= ” Intermediate”
- Knowledge of source control and CI/CD systems – Skill Level >= ” Intermediate”
- Database Programming – Oracle (11g and above) SQL and PL/SQL – Skill Level >= “Intermediate”
You may have worked as a ‘Software Engineer’, ‘Software Developer’, ‘C# Developer’.
