NoBull Marketing, LLC
Full job description
Now Hiring: Senior Google Ads Manager (Law Firm Lead Gen) — South Africa, Remote
You already know Google Ads inside out. You’ve spent years in the accounts, you’ve sat across the table (or the Zoom) from clients, and you don’t need anyone holding your hand. Now you want a team that moves fast, respects your expertise, and gives you real ownership. That’s us.
We’re looking for a seasoned paid search specialist who can hit the ground running — take over live accounts within weeks, run them with a conversion-first mindset, and represent the work directly to U.S. law firm clients.
What We Offer
- Salary: $48,000–$60,000 USD/year (~ R790 000 – R987 000), depending on experience, with room to grow toward the top of the range as you prove yourself. Paid every 14 days. (No US work visa or US citizenship required.)
- Generous Time Off: 21 days of paid vacation + 12 public holidays (US or local calendar — your choice!)
- Fully Remote: Work from anywhere in South Africa.
- Flexible Hours with Partial Overlap:
- A full-time schedule is required (8h, of which 1h is a lunch break), but you don’t need to work a rigid 9–5 EST.
- Because you’ll be meeting with U.S.-based law firms, you must maintain a daily 4-hour overlap with 9 AM–5 PM ET. For most South Africa–based team members this means an afternoon-into-evening schedule.
- To be fully transparent: you’ll be expected to work outside your normal hours from time to time to accommodate client schedules. In most cases you’ll set meeting times directly with your clients, so you have a good shot at keeping things relatively early in your local timezone — but that won’t always be possible with every client.
About Us
NoBull Marketing LLC helps U.S. law firms grow. We’re known for high-performance lead gen through Google Ads, Local Services Ads (LSA), and Google Map Pack SEO — and for helping firms turn those leads into paying clients through better intake and sales. Our founder wrote the book Revenue Engineering for Law Firms.
Google Ads is now one of our core services, and we’re scaling the paid search department aggressively. That means more clients, more accounts, and a real need for senior people who can carry serious responsibility without dropping the ball.
Our vision: to become the #1 digital growth partner for attorneys worldwide.
Why you? Your technical depth in Google Ads means you speak from a position of genuine competency, and your client-facing skills make our lawyer clients feel heard, taken care of, and guided by a data-driven expert who has their best interest at heart.
About This Role
This is a senior, hands-on position for someone who’s ready to own outcomes from day one. You won’t spend months shadowing — after a short ramp to learn our systems and the legal vertical, you’ll be managing your own book of accounts, launching new clients, and joining strategy calls.
You’ll manage Google Ads accounts for law firms (with LSA in the mix too — more on that below), lead client conversations about performance and growth, and own the quality of everything that goes out under your name. We hire people we can trust to figure things out and get things done — and we pay accordingly.
Important: This role involves a high volume of accounts and direct client contact, including difficult conversations. Please do not apply if you’re uncomfortable staying composed, focused, and solution-oriented under pressure. Resilience is part of the job.
What You’ll OwnGoogle Ads & LSA Account Management
- Manage a substantial book of law firm accounts with a conversion-first mindset — owning performance, not just monitoring it.
- Treat LSA (Local Services Ads) as a priority channel, not an afterthought. It’s often the best-ROI channel we run, and protecting lead flow there matters. You’ll decide how to balance LSA and Google Ads for each client, with a strong preference toward LSA wherever it makes sense. Prior LSA experience is a plus, but it’s easy to pick up — if you haven’t run it before (it’s primarily a U.S. channel), we’ll get you up to speed quickly during onboarding.
- Build, run, and interpret A/B tests across ads, bidding, and landing pages — knowing what makes sense for the client and being able to verify the full setup before it goes live.
- Stay ahead of issues (disapprovals, policy and billing problems, conversion drops, budget pacing) instead of reacting to them.
Client Strategy & Communication
- Join Zoom calls with law firm clients to present performance, explain results in plain English, and identify the single biggest growth lever for their business.
- Confidently recommend improvements in strategy — you’re the expert in the room, and you don’t need a middleman to speak to the work.
- Handle written communication with assigned clients, translating their requests into clear internal action.
- Stay calm and constructive in tough client situations. Not every call is smooth, and we need someone who can hold the line professionally.
Launch & Landing Pages
- Own the full launch of your new clients end-to-end — account build, tracking, and go-live — without letting launches drag (slow launches hurt the client relationship and the business).
- Produce conversion-optimized landing pages using our AI-assisted workflow (we’ll set you up with our prompts, templates, and tools) and make quick, basic edits live during meetings. We’ll teach you the basics of GoHighLevel.
- Apply our quality-control SOPs rigorously: correct tracking, clean builds, no surprises.
Quality Control & Working at Scale
- This is a high-volume role. You’ll need to prioritize ruthlessly, stay on top of a long list of moving parts, and never let important things slip.
- Own quality control end-to-end — mistakes are costly, so we expect proactive QA and internal double-checking before anything reaches a client.
- Help us work smarter as we scale: if you spot a workflow, alert, or automation that saves the team time, we want to hear it.
Cross-Team Alignment
- Organize your day on our project management board and post a short (30–90s) priorities video on Slack each morning, with a quick end-of-day update so the team always knows where client work stands.
- Attend daily paid search department stand-ups and relevant company meetings to keep coordination tight.
What We’re Looking ForMust-Haves
- 5+ years of hands-on, specialist Google Ads experience — ideally in lead gen or service-based verticals. This is a senior role; we’re not looking for someone two or three years in.
- Demonstrated ability to manage many accounts at once without losing track of detail.
- Strong, clear, confident English — spoken and written. You’ll be on camera with clients and writing to them directly.
- Genuine client-facing experience: you’re comfortable on Zoom, presenting results, and navigating difficult conversations.
- Detail-obsessed and self-managing, with the judgment to prioritize what matters most.
- You take full ownership of outcomes and know how to get things done.
- Based in South Africa.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience running LSA / Local Services Ads — but no problem if not; it’s a mostly-U.S. channel and easy to learn, and we’ll walk you through it during onboarding.
- Experience marketing for U.S. law firms or other regulated/professional service verticals. (Experience on South African, UK, Australian, Canadian, or other markets is just as welcome — strong Google Ads fundamentals travel well.)
- Familiarity with Google Ads Editor, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Looker Studio, and call-tracking tools.
- Comfort using AI tools (e.g. Claude) to speed up landing pages, copy, and analysis.
- Basic WordPress / GoHighLevel skills — or the willingness to learn them fast.
Who This Role Is — and Isn’t — For
This role is for you if: you’re a senior operator who likes living in the accounts, you’re energized by ownership, you stay sharp under a heavy load, and you can be both the numbers person and the trusted face on a client call.
This role probably isn’t for you if: you prefer a single account or a narrow slice of the funnel, you need constant direction, or high-pressure client conversations stress you out more than they motivate you.
A Typical Week Might Include
- Reviewing and optimizing your book of Google Ads and LSA accounts, with budget pacing and hygiene checks built into your routine.
- Joining a strategy call with a law firm to walk through performance and pinpoint the biggest growth lever.
- Launching a new client — account, tracking, and landing page — and QA’ing the full setup before go-live.
- Spinning up a conversion-optimized landing page draft with our AI workflow and refining it for the client.
- Catching an issue before it becomes a problem, and proposing a faster way for the team to handle it next time.
- Posting your morning priorities and end-of-day update on Slack so the team stays aligned.
Core Values
- Never Lie: Absolute honesty in actions and communication.
- Speak the Truth: Say what needs saying with courage and respect.
- Take Ownership: Own the outcome and the process.
- Prioritize Personal Growth: Improve yourself to improve your work.
- Live Your Purpose: Know your why and act on it.
- Lift Others Up: Make your team and clients better.
We protect real life, too. Family, health, hobbies, and purpose matter here. We win without burning people out.
