The Role

Maintaining an estate agent website using WordPress.
Contributing to other projects as needed.
Handling front-end and back-end development tasks.
Performance optimisation, including deferring JavaScript files and merging JavaScript files.
Setting up automated pipelines in version control.
Setting up new servers and managing DNS records.
Troubleshooting and problem-solving API integrations.
Pulling information from CRMs and pushing JSON files.
Ensuring websites meet performance and accessibility standards (e.g., Google PageSpeed Insights).
Providing holiday cover for the existing developer.

The Person

Strong full-stack WordPress developer.
Experience with ACF and Gutenberg blocks.
Proficient in both front-end and back-end tasks.
Technical capability for performance optimization.
Experience with API integrations.
Familiar with setting up servers and managing DNS records.
Experience in developing bespoke themes and plugins from the ground up within an agency setting.
Ability to work within core hours but with flexibility.
Someone who is passionate about WordPress and stays updated with the latest versions and community contributions.
Not primarily focused on page builders; prefers building bespoke themes.
