Job Responsibilities

1. KOL Engagement: Identify, onboard, and build strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in the cryptocurrency, finance, and investment sectors. Work with KOLs to promote Bitget’s services, targeting high-net-worth individuals and VIP clients to use our platform.

2. Strategic Partnerships: Develop and manage partnerships with influencers, social media personalities, and other high-profile individuals who can help position Bitget as the preferred exchange for HNWIs in South Africa.

3. Leverage KOL Networks: Collaborate with KOLs to create tailored content, campaigns, and events that resonate with their audiences, focusing on educating and engaging high-net-worth individuals in cryptocurrency trading.

4. Market Research: Stay informed about the South African crypto landscape, monitoring KOL trends and identifying emerging influencers with significant impact. Use market insights to shape engagement strategies that appeal to the HNWI segment.

5. Event Management: Plan and execute exclusive events, webinars, and meetups in partnership with KOLs to introduce Bitget’s platform to HNWIs. Utilize these events to build brand credibility and foster a community of loyal users.

6. Client Acquisition: Drive user acquisition through KOL marketing initiatives. Collaborate with KOLs to generate leads and convert high-value individuals into active traders on the Bitget platform

7. Content Strategy: Work with KOLs to co-create educational content that highlights the benefits and features of Bitget’s services, ensuring it resonates with high-net-worth individuals. Focus on content that addresses the unique needs and concerns of HNWIs in crypto trading.

8. Cross-Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the marketing, compliance, and product teams to align KOL-focused business development efforts with Bitget’s overall growth strategy. Provide feedback to enhance platform features that cater to HNWIs.

9. Relationship Management: Foster long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with KOLs, ensuring ongoing engagement with Bitget’s platform. Provide KOLs with the necessary resources, insights, and support to maximize their influence in promoting our services.

Job Requirements

– Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within the financial services, fintech, or cryptocurrency sectors. Experience in engaging with high-net-worth individuals is highly desirable.

– Cryptocurrency Knowledge: Strong understanding of the cryptocurrency market and trading platforms. Ability to articulate the benefits and risks of crypto investments to potential HNWIs.

– Network: Established network within the South African finance, investment, or cryptocurrency community. Existing relationships with HNWIs, wealth managers, or private banking clients will be a plus.

– Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build trust with high-value clients. Fluency in English is required; knowledge of other South African languages is a bonus.

– Sales-Driven: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.

– Analytical: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify market opportunities and tailor business development strategies accordingly.

– Self-Motivated: Highly proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision in a remote setting.
