We’re looking for a creative, strategic thinker with a passion for social media, storytelling, and user engagement to lead Xapo Bank’s social media marketing and PR efforts. You’ll develop and execute strategies to boost Xapo’s market presence.
- Craft and implement a comprehensive social media content strategy aligned with business goals.
- Develop and maintain a content calendar for timely content distribution.
- Produce engaging content (videos, images, text) for various social media platforms (X, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.).
- Spearhead social media experiments with new platforms and diverse content formats.
- Design and execute impactful organic social media campaigns to promote events and partnerships for maximum reach and participation.
- Stay on top of social media trends and best practices to inform content creation.
- Manage and cultivate social media communities by engaging with followers, responding to comments, and fostering positive conversations.
- Leverage data to optimize content and improve engagement across platforms.
- Prepare regular reports summarizing social media activities, key insights, impact, sentiment, and recommendations.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (performance marketing, content development, product management, customer success) to develop compelling content.
- Manage the PR agency relationship, ensuring alignment with Xapo’s business and marketing objectives.
- Draft press releases to promote company announcements, product launches, and events.
- Serve as the primary media contact for PR inquiries, providing timely and accurate responses.
- Contribute to the creation of internal and external-facing newsletters, announcements, presentations, and videos.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
- 5-7 years of experience in social media marketing, content creation, and public relations (crypto or fintech experience a plus).
- Proficiency in social media platforms, scheduling, and analytics tools.
- Strong understanding of social media best practices and trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong copywriting and editorial abilities.
- Highly creative, with experience in content creation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
- Strong analytical skills to interpret social media data and inform strategies.
- Ability to work independently and as a team, with proven project management and cross-collaboration skills.
