About the Role:
As a Senior Sales Development Representative, your core focus is to generate new business opportunities through outbound cold outreach. This includes cold calling, cold emailing, and LinkedIn outreach to engage potential clients and book qualified meetings.
The exact outreach strategy will vary depending on the company — some may emphasize LinkedIn and email, while others leverage all three channels. However, most clients prioritize cold calling, as it remains the most effective channel for generating qualified opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct cold outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn
- Prospect and qualify B2B leads through cold outreach
- Set qualified meetings for Account Executives, Sales Managers or Founders
- Build and optimise top-of-funnel outbound strategies
- Maintain clean records in CRMs like HubSpot or Salesforce
- Collaborate with sales and marketing to align outreach messaging
- Analyze outreach performance and optimize for conversion
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in B2B sales development, appointment setting or outbound lead generation roles
- Proven success targeting mid to senior-level decision-makers through outbound outreach
- Experience with cold calling, cold emailing, and LinkedIn outreach
- Excellent English communication and objection-handling skills
- Advanced proficiency in CRMs, diallers, prospecting platforms, and sales tools
- Comfortable using Google Docs, Google Sheets, Slack, Zoom, and ChatGPT
- Tech-savvy and confident in navigating modern sales workflows
- Fully remote-ready with a reliable laptop and high-speed internet connection
- Able to work independently and effectively in a remote environment
Benefits:
Salary: ZAR 20,000–25,000/month based on experience + performance bonuses
