About the job
This is an exciting, newly-created position which will support Leonid’s Head of Marketing in delivering high quality marketing assets.
The post-holder should be comfortable working autonomously, but support and guidance will always be available.
You will be taking the lead on our pitch deck delivery process; therefore, solid PowerPoint experience, research skills and sharp attention to detail are essential.
In addition to the PowerPoint work, the senior marketing executive will be responsible for editing podcasts and contributing to the production of monthly newsletters.
Start date: July 2025
Responsibilities:
Pitch deck management
· Responsibility for creating pitch decks for our consultants, using a professionally-designed template. This process involves market research, updating slides accordingly and proofreading.
· This is deadline-driven work; sometimes a quick turnaround will be required.
· From time to time, you may be required to create new slides for the deck.
Email Automation
· Assist with the delivery of newsletters and email campaigns, using our marketing automation tool (training will be provided).
Podcasts
· Manage the production and editing of our company podcasts, including creating snippets for social media.
· Co-ordinate each podcast project plan to ensure all deliverables are met.
Social media
· Create assets for our social media in Canva.
· Manage the social media calendar.
· Utilising clips from podcasts and company/employer branding videos to promote on socials.
Other
· Occasional market research for our white papers and guides.
· Support on ad-hoc projects and campaigns.
Internal Coordination and Reporting
· Reports to our Head of Marketing.
· Works closely with our Operations Assistant.
Compensation & Benefits
· 29 days paid holiday (pro-rata).
· Additional 2,000 ZAR per quarter wellbeing bonus.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
· Native English speaker (or native standard)
· 3+ (executive) or 5+ (Manager) years’ experience in marketing
· Advanced PowerPoint skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Highly organised
· Outstanding attention to detail
· An eye for good design
· Flexibility and adaptability
· Research skills
· Team player
· Experience within the recruitment/executive search industry preferred; skills using LinkedIn Talent Insights most welcome.
