Sales Development Representative (SDR) – EST Hours (Remote)

● Location: Remote (South Africa-based, working EST hours)
● Salary: $2,000 – $2,500 per month
● Reports to: CEO

Note: Only candidates with experience in IT, cybersecurity, or technology sales will be considered.

About the Role

We’re seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to drive new business opportunities for our client’s managed IT and cybersecurity services. You’ll be the first point of contact with prospects, researching, qualifying leads, and booking meetings that fuel the sales pipeline. Working in EST business hours, you’ll play a key role in shaping the company’s expansion beyond referrals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and prospect potential clients (business owners, IT managers, executives) using existing client data and outbound targeting.
  • Conduct outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn to generate new opportunities.
  • Qualify inbound leads from marketing campaigns.
  • Clearly communicate the value proposition of managed IT and cybersecurity services, including differentiators against competitors.
  • Book qualified meetings for the senior sales team.
  • Maintain accurate activity records in HubSpot CRM.
  • Consistently exceed weekly/monthly targets for outreach, meetings, and pipeline growth.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Daily calls and emails sent.
  • Number of discovery meetings booked.
  • Conversion rate of leads to opportunities.
  • Sales pipeline value generated.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an SDR, BDR, or telesales role within IT, cyber security, or digital technology.
  • Skilled at lead generation via research and LinkedIn.
  • Excellent communication skills: clear, confident, and consultative.
  • Resilient, target-driven, and able to handle rejection.
  • Strong organisational skills and CRM experience (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar).
  • Solid understanding of IT services and cyber security fundamentals.
