Job Title: Account Manager – Remote (South Africa)

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team in a full client-facing role. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing, developing, and nurturing long-term client relationships, overseeing recruitment projects from start to finish, and ensuring the recruitment process is seamless. You will conduct virtual client meetings and regular check-ins to ensure client satisfaction while collaborating closely with recruiters and recruitment managers.
This role requires 5+ years of experience in recruitment, account management, and team leadership. A strong background in managing client relationships, leading teams, and delivering results will be essential in this high-impact, client-facing role.
Key Responsibilities:
· Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients. Act as the primary point of contact, ensuring that all communication is clear, responsive, and aligned with client needs. Foster trust and reliability with clients to ensure sustained partnerships.
· Virtual Client Meetings & Check-ins: Conduct regular virtual meetings and check-ins with clients to review recruitment progress, discuss challenges, and adjust strategies as necessary. Provide updates on recruitment pipelines, key metrics, and performance.
· Collaboration with Recruitment Teams: Work closely with recruiters and recruitment managers to ensure alignment on client expectations, timelines, and candidate requirements. Lead internal meetings to coordinate resources and ensure the recruitment process runs smoothly.
· Strategic Recruitment Oversight: Oversee recruitment projects, ensuring that candidates are sourced, interviewed, and placed according to client specifications. Monitor the process to ensure high-quality service is delivered within agreed timelines.
· Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead and guide a team of recruiters, providing mentorship and support to drive their success. Conduct regular performance reviews, offer constructive feedback, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
· Client Retention & Upselling: Actively engage clients to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty. Identify opportunities for account expansion or additional services that align with client needs, ensuring growth within existing accounts.
· Problem Solving & Issue Resolution: Address any client concerns or recruitment challenges promptly, finding effective solutions and ensuring that clients’ needs are met with minimal disruption.
· Client Reporting & Performance Tracking: Provide clients with detailed reports on recruitment progress, success metrics, and areas for improvement. Use data to inform strategy and optimize recruitment efforts.
· Continuous Improvement: Gather client feedback to refine recruitment strategies and improve service delivery. Collaborate with internal teams to implement improvements based on client needs and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
· 5+ years of experience in recruitment, account management, or client relationship management, with a proven track record in a full client-facing role.
· Significant experience in team leadership and managing recruitment processes from start to finish.
· Strong understanding of recruitment processes, sourcing methods, and talent acquisition strategies.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with senior-level clients and internal teams.
· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to address client issues efficiently.
· Proven ability to lead a team and ensure high performance in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
· Proficient in recruitment management tools (e.g., Recruit CRM, Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
· Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and competing priorities effectively.
· Fluent in English (both spoken and written), with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
· Available to work US business hours (9 AM – 6 PM EST).
