The organization is seeking a highly motivated and resilient Recruitment Consultant to specialize in the defense sector, focusing specifically on software, robotics, or autonomous engineering roles. This is a 180-degree position with a strong emphasis on client-side activities, including initial sales calls, relationship building, and ongoing account management.
The role requires a “cold desk” sales approach, utilizing various methods like LinkedIn, emails, and cold calling, with dedicated researchers supporting candidate selection and building target lists. A key responsibility is managing the organization’s comprehensive 50-stage executive search process and meticulously maintaining CRM records.

Requirements
To be a strong fit for this role, candidates should possess the following:
- Experience: 5–10 years of experience in recruitment.
- Specialization: Proven experience recruiting within the defense sector, particularly in software, robotics, or autonomous engineering.
- Sales Ability: Strong sales abilities and comfort with a “cold desk” approach and independence in client meetings.
- Process Management: Adeptness at managing a complex process, specifically the 50-stage executive search process, and maintaining CRM records.
- Mindset: A high degree of resilience to handle rejections in a competitive UK market , self-discipline, and a “self-starter mentality”.
- Technical Comfort: Experience with the new, AI-driven CRM, Tencentis, is not expected, but candidates must be willing to undergo comprehensive training as they are early adopters in the UK.
