Up World

What does this job need to do?
Organise Lottie’s life so she’s always in the right place at the right time. This could mean booking meetings, identifying networking opportunities, or squeezing in a haircut (and ensuring she has downtime when needed!). You’ll manage her inbox, with the ability to ghostwrite as her when required, and tackle a range of ad hoc tasks—anything from formatting presentations to sending contracts to conducting research.

You’ll minimize the time tasks take, figuring out what needs to be done and doing it with minimal input from Lottie. The aim is to save her time, not add to it, with a prompt and proactive approach.

How will we measure success?
Lottie’s stress levels (don’t worry… not all your problem!). In short, it’s about making sure she can’t do what she does without you. You’ll never drop the ball, always staying on top of things—whether it’s remembering every intro or making sure everything runs like clockwork.

You’ll maintain a 24-hour turnaround on most tasks, with ultra-prompt communication during working hours. If you’re copied into a message thread, Lottie expects confirmation that it’s in hand within an hour or two.

For the first two months, you’ll provide reports on where hours are going to help refine task delegation and ensure efficiency.

The Details…
This role is an internal operations function. While you’ll report directly to Lottie (CEO), Bee (Head of People) will provide pastoral care. It’s fully remote, and you don’t need to be UK-based.

Please note we don’t cover travel costs if you’re outside the UK and need to return for team-building events, so you might feel quite independent if you’re based elsewhere.

Who we’re looking for:
The ideal candidate has experience as an EA to a Sales Director or CEO. You’ll bring:

  • Proven experience working with a busy founder as a Personal Assistant or in a similar role. This includes diary and email management, booking travel, and personal requests.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks with ease.
  • The ability to ghostwrite effectively for anyone, especially Lottie.
  • A curiosity for tech and automation—always looking for hacks to work smarter and faster.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Resilience and comfort in a fast-paced environment.
  • Autonomy—you’ll have support, but we need someone who doesn’t require hand-holding.
  • Honesty and responsibility—you’ll own mistakes when they happen, without excuses, and keep things moving forward.
  • You’ll be expected to confirm task receipt, confirm completion, and provide updates if something will take longer than expected.

Lottie loves to invest in those who perform well, and people who’ve worked with her have gone on to great roles within the business! There is an option for career progression here for the right person.
