We’re hiring a Performance Video Editor to take ownership of video execution across short-form and long-form formats.

This role is not only about making things look pretty. More importantly, it’s about capturing attention, holding it, and driving action.

Role Overview

As a Performance Video Editor, you’ll be responsible for editing high-performing video content across ads, social media, funnels, and owned channels. You’ll work with raw footage, clear direction, and strong messaging, then turn that into videos that actually perform.

You should understand how people consume video today, what stops the scroll, what keeps someone watching, and how structure, pacing, and visuals influence results.

Short-form and long-form are both core to this role.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Short-form video editing for ads and social platforms
• Long-form video editing for YouTube and other owned channels
• Structuring footage to hook viewers early and retain attention
• Using motion, pacing, and visual emphasis to reinforce the message
• Staying up to date with what’s working across social media and YouTube
• Iterating on creative based on performance feedback

Graphic design is a valuable bonus, but not critical to the role.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience editing both short-form and long-form video
• Clear understanding of performance-driven content, not just aesthetics
• Good instincts for hooks, pacing, and visual hierarchy
• Comfortable working fast and shipping consistently
• Aware of current content trends and formats across social and YouTube
• Motion design experience is a plus

Compensation:
R25,000 per month
Full-time role
Remote (South Africa)

Working Hours: 10am to 6pm, Monday to Friday
