Job Purpose:
Support the Payroll team in the accurate and timely processing of timesheets, invoices, payroll and admin tasks.

Duties:
· Ensure all payroll data and tasks are processed accurately and in time for payrolls to be submitted
· Answering payroll queries internally from other teams
· Investigate and resolve customer queries quickly and patiently via email and phone
· Support the finance team with investigating payroll discrepancies
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
· Proven experience using Microsoft Excel – a test will be required
· Experience using MS Office and any web-based business applications
· 1-2 years’ experience within a payroll role
· Friendly, patient; able to work as a team, prioritise and work to a deadline
· Accurate record-keeping, good with numbers, attentive to detail
· Critical thinking and problem-solving
· High standard of written and listening skills, excellent phone manner.
Preferrable Skills and Qualifications:
· UK payroll experience is an advantage, but not essential as full training can be provided
· Finance experience is an advantage, but not essential
Place of work:
Working from home, with requirement to occasionally attend meetings in Cape Town, for which travel expenses will be paid
Technical requirements
You must have dedicated broadband at home and back up power supply.
Days: Full-time, Monday to Friday.
Hours: 9am to 5.30pm UK time
