Full job description

Aureol Global Connections is seeking an Operations Lead to join our expanding team in South Africa. This role is central to managing our processing and recruitment operations, overseeing visa and work permit compliance, and ensuring efficient workflows across international projects. Main Responsibilities

Processing & Compliance Management

  • Oversee the end-to-end processing of documentation, applications, and approvals for candidates.
  • Ensure full compliance visa/work permit requirements.
  • Liaise with embassies, consulates, government bodies, and relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate processing trackers, records, and reporting systems.
  • Implement and monitor quality control measures for all processing-related activities.

Operational Leadership

  • Lead day-to-day operations to ensure smooth workflows across local and international teams.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive operational excellence.
  • Coordinate travel-related logistics including flights, accommodation, and compliance documentation.
  • Oversee the implementation of company procedures, ensuring consistency and adherence.

Team Management & Communication

  • Conduct regular team briefings, providing guidance, training, and constructive feedback.
  • Act as a key point of contact between the South Africa office and our teams in Ireland, the UK and the Philippines.
  • Foster strong communication and collaboration across all departments and global offices.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 4–5 years’ experience in operations, processing, or administrative management.
  • Strong understanding of visa, work permit, and compliance requirements (highly desirable).
  • Excellent organisational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); CRM/database management experience is an advantage.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively at all levels.
  • Experience in recruitment, staffing, or international mobility is advantageous.
