RSB is seeking a technically capable and detail-oriented Membership Operations – Junior Manager. This role combines CRM system administration, process automation, and ongoing administrative support to ensure a seamless, high-quality experience for RSB’s global community of members. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in operations and information systems who is looking to apply their skills in a purpose-driven, global non-profit organisation.
Working alongside the Membership & Events Manager and reporting to the Deputy Executive Director, this new role will manage CRM system administration, process optimisation, and digital membership tools, enabling smooth onboarding, renewal, engagement tracking, and data-driven decision-making.

About RSB’s Membership Community

Your Role
CRM and Systems Administration
- Serve as the primary member-focused administrator of RSB’s Salesforce CRM and associated tools.
- Manage contact records, segmentation, engagement tracking, and reporting dashboards.
- Automate workflows for onboarding, renewals, billing notifications, and platform membership tracking.
Membership Administration
- Own core membership admin functions such as status changes, billing support, and data updates, and support other functions led by the Membership & Events Manager.
- Respond to member queries and support access to platforms, events, and other RSB benefits.
- Liaise with finance and admin teams to support accurate invoicing and record-keeping.
Membership Data and Reporting
- Track and analyse member activity, event attendance, platform participation, and engagement levels.
- Produce regular reports with insights and recommendations to support strategy and decision-making.
- Ensure data accuracy, hygiene, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Process Optimisation and Tooling
- Lead the implementation and rollout of new tools, such as a member-facing portal.
- Document internal workflows and develop templates and SOPs to improve team efficiency.
- Recommend and implement improvements to backend systems and processes to enhance user experience.
Cross-Team Collaboration
- Work closely with the Communications team to support segmentation, email workflows, and messaging alignment.
- Collaborate with the Organisational Development team on CRM architecture and GDPR compliance.
- Support programme teams in tracking member access and participation across RSB platforms.
Requirements
- Minimum three years’ experience in a CRM- or operations-focused role, with demonstrated Salesforce experience.
- Proficient in data management, including Excel or Google Sheets for reporting and analysis.
- Experience in process automation, systems documentation, and stakeholder support.
- Strong organisational and communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, multicultural team environment.
- Availability for occasional regional and international travel.
Desirable Experience
- Experience in membership-based organisations, associations, or NGOs.
- Familiarity with tools such as FormAssembly, Mailchimp, Airtable, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of GDPR or other relevant data protection frameworks.
- Interest in sustainability, climate action, or the circular bioeconomy.

Important Information
- Location: Home office-based, for candidates already currently located in South Africa, Spain or UK and in possession of valid work permit for the location (no relocation or visa sponsorship available).
- Full–time
- Start Date: January 2026
- Duration: Initial 2-year contract with possibility for extension or a permanent contract
