BENEFITS CONSULAR
As a Benefits Consular, you will embody the wisdom and dedication of a Jedi Consular, guiding members through the galaxy of their health benefits. Your mission is to educate members on their available health plans, ensure a smooth benefits enrollment, and provide answers to their questions with the utmost kindness, knowledge, and support.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Educate and Enlighten: Just as Jedi Consulars share their wisdom of the Force, you will enlighten members about their health benefits, helping them understand the intricacies of their plans.
Enrollment Expertise: Using your skills, you will navigate members through their enrollment platform, ensuring they successfully enroll in the best plans for their needs.
Communication: Emulate the compassion of a Jedi as you answer member inquiries, offering them support through various channels (phone, email, and text). Providing guidance and maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude at all times.
Systems: Utilize our various platforms provided for team communication and training.
Apply strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
Apply strong knowledge of Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) & SANC (South African Nursing Council)
Performs other related duties as assigned.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Required Skills/Abilities:
Modest knowledge of various employee benefits products and policies.
Understand the laws and regulations around insurance products that will be written.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient with technical skills in operations of a variety of platforms and equipment.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
Ability to gather, process, and follow through on information.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to recognize and maintain confidentiality.
Understand how to adapt communication style to match the listener’s level of knowledge and experience.

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
Experience in hospitality, office/admin, billing, insurance, healthcare preferred.
Previous nursing, health admin or health related experience, is a plus
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: R30 000,00 per month
