Position Overview
We are seeking a creative and strategic Marketing Manager & Campaign Strategist to lead and execute marketing initiatives that drive course enrolments, community engagement, and brand growth.
This role combines strategic campaign planning, digital marketing execution, and data-driven performance tracking—ideal for a passionate storyteller who understands both education and marketing.
Key ResponsibilitiesCampaign Strategy & Management
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for online courses, pre-launches, and seasonal promotions.
- Create and manage multi-channel campaigns across email, social media, paid ads, and affiliates.
- Develop marketing funnels that move audiences from awareness to purchase, using storytelling and value-driven messaging.
- Coordinate launch calendars, ensuring consistent messaging across all assets and platforms.
Content Creation & Brand Messaging
- Write and oversee high-impact copy for ads, landing pages, social media, and newsletters aligned with Yellow Tree’s nurturing, teacher-empowering tone.
- Collaborate with the design and video teams to produce visually engaging promotional materials.
- Ensure brand consistency in tone, visuals, and messaging across all marketing channels.
- Source and manage testimonials, case studies, and user stories to build social proof.
Performance & Data Analytics
- Track, analyse, and optimise campaign performance (ROAS, CTR, conversion rates).
- Use insights to improve marketing efficiency and report on monthly KPIs.
- A/B test messaging, ad creatives, and funnels to continually improve conversion rates.
Community & Customer Engagement
- Grow and manage social media communities (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest).
- Plan content calendars that educate, inspire, and nurture teachers and parents.
- Manage email marketing automation (welcome series, nurture sequences, cart recovery).
- Engage with educators and partners to expand Yellow Tree’s online presence and collaborations.
Partnerships & Affiliate Development
- Identify and manage partnerships with schools, educational organisations, and influencers.
- Develop affiliate and referral marketing systems to scale reach organically.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Education, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, preferably in e-learning, SaaS, or educational brands.
- Excellent Skills in platforms such as Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, LinkedIn, etc.
- Strong understanding of SEO, paid advertising, funnels, analytics, and conversion optimisation.
- Exceptional written communication skills (English), with a talent for emotionally resonant storytelling.
- Experience managing multi-channel campaigns and working with cross-functional creative teams.
- Bonus: Familiarity with the Science of Reading, teacher communities, or educational marketing.

This position is remote, with flexible hours – 40hrs per week. We would like to have regular team meetings in Durbanville at the office to strategise 5/6 times per month.
