We’re Hiring: Junior Software Developer (Hybrid – South Africa)

Looped Automation is hiring a Junior Software Developer to help build and maintain a variety of internal tools and software products. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career dev to work across the full stack and grow alongside a small, experienced team.

About the Role

You’ll help build frontend and backend features, work with databases, and even get involved in data processing tasks. You’ll have real responsibility from day one and lots of room to experiment, learn, and ship real software.

• Full stack exposure (frontend, backend, and data)
• Hybrid work – remote-friendly, but must be based in South Africa
• 12-month contract with the option to go permanent
• Small, fast-moving team building real software for real businesses

What You’ll Need

• Strong knowledge of TypeScript, React, and Next.js
• Comfortable using Git and GitHub in a team workflow
• Based in Cape Town or South Africa with reliable internet access
• Willingness to learn quickly, try new tech, and ask questions

Bonus Points (Nice-to-Haves)

• Experience with Prisma or Drizzle ORM
• Familiar with PostgreSQL
• Played around with SvelteKit
• Comfortable in Python or using pandas for light data work
