About The Role

A premier luxury resort and marina in the Bahamas is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join their remote finance team. This is an excellent opportunity to support a high-end hospitality business with accounting operations while working from anywhere in the world.

This role starts at 20-30 hours per week with the potential to scale to full-time based on performance and business needs. You’ll support general ledger management, financial clean-up, and a variety of recurring accounting tasks to keep operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• General ledger accounting and transaction posting
• Bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Clean-up and organization of financial records
• Trial balance reviews and posting of adjustments
• Prepaid schedules and monthly journal entries
• Back-office admin support and financial documentation
• Close collaboration with internal finance staff

Qualifications

• Proven experience with QuickBooks Online
• Familiarity with CloudBeds or hospitality-based accounting platforms (preferred)
• Accounting degree or equivalent experience
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• English fluency for internal communication (not client-facing)
• Ability to work independently across time zones
• Minimum 40 WPM typing speed
• Comfortable navigating dynamic priorities and tight deadlines
