About the role
We are looking for a smart, flexible and skilled designer to join our team and help us create eye-catching materials that will delight our target audience. The brief will be wide and varied, including digital, web and video projects; working across sales, marketing and product design and other departments.
We believe in the power of brand and visual identity. We believe in the power of imagery to tell a compelling story. Our Graphic Designer will help us excel at both.
Responsibilities:
- Owning design projects from concept to execution across a wide range of disciplines.
- Creating a variety of marketing materials, including social assets, digital advertising and other ad hoc requests to support the marketing team and wider company.
- Creating illustrations and story-telling elements to support our brand presence.
- Interpreting briefs and managing collaboration with other departments to ensure clear goals and achievable deadlines.
- Manage an effective process for receiving and processing internal creative requests that keep stakeholders informed along the production line.
- Be the brand guardian, reinforcing our brand visual style as it grows and develops.
- Contribute creative planning and conceptualise and design new branding materials to further our design goals.
- Present design concepts to internal stakeholders and provide recommendations based on design principles and brand guidelines.
- Stay up-to-date with design trends and provide recommendations for incorporating new techniques and technologies into designs.
- Contributing to course-related design requests when needed.
About you:
- 2-3 years design experience in an in-house team or agency.
- A strong portfolio showcasing your design style and range of projects.
- A strong understanding of design principles and production processes.
- Comfortable with core skills for digital, brand design and print.
- Experience developing creative assets for Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter; familiar with design best practices for social channels.
- Experience with the leading industry software (Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.).
- Deep knowledge of effective use of photography and typography needed to support marketing and brand campaigns.
- Strong attention to detail and passion for delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to manage your time and workload while actively collaborating and communicating with teammates to ensure alignment on priorities.
- Serious about the role, but not so serious about yourself.
