AlWatania Information Systems is seeking an experienced GCP Cloud Architect to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing high-performance cloud infrastructure solutions utilizing Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will collaborate closely with various teams to ensure that our clients’ systems are robust, scalable, and cost-effective while maximizing their cloud investments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect, implement, and optimize cloud solutions leveraging GCP services.
• Work alongside developers, analysts, and other stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Conduct assessments of the current cloud architecture and recommend improvements.
• Implement security controls and compliance measures for cloud resources.
• Monitor performance and manage the configuration of cloud environments.
• Stay informed about the latest GCP updates, tools, and best practices.
• Provide training and support to team members on cloud solutions and architectural decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud architecture, specifically with GCP.
• In-depth knowledge of GCP services, including networking, compute, storage, and security offerings.
• Experience with cloud migration strategies and best practices.
• Proficient with automation and scripting tools to manage cloud environments.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a solutions-oriented mindset.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
• GCP Professional Cloud Architect certification is a plus.
