About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Director of Business Development who already has a strong network across the pharma and biotech industry.
This is a senior relationship-driven role — ideal for someone who regularly engages decision-makers within Medical Affairs, Marketing, Market Access, and Patient teams.
You’ll act as a strategic advisor, helping clients discover how PubVisual can elevate how they communicate science, engage physicians, and measure understanding.
This isn’t about transactional sales — it’s about credibility, insight, and long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and engage senior pharma stakeholders across Medical Affairs, Marketing, Market Access, and Patient functions.
- Lead strategic conversations around scientific storytelling, adaptive learning, and digital engagement.
- Present tailored PubVisual examples that address specific therapeutic or brand needs.
- Collaborate with medical, strategy, and creative teams to develop proposals and strategic plans.
- Expand partnerships across multiple therapeutic areas, brands, and markets.
RequirementsMust-Have:
- 5+ years of experience in pharma or life sciences in a business development, client, or partnership role.
- Established network and relationships with senior stakeholders in Medical Affairs, Marketing, Market Access, or Patient Education.
- Strong understanding of the pharma approval and compliance process (MLR, Veeva, Med-Legal).
- Confident, consultative communicator who builds trust and drives strategic dialogue.
- Self-driven, structured, and professional — with a collaborative mindset.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience in scientific communication, HCP engagement, or data storytelling.
- Background in medical communications, digital engagement, or healthcare marketing.
- Understanding of adaptive learning, omnichannel engagement, or cognitive science in pharma communication.
What We Offer
- Direct access to top global pharma clients and decision-makers.
- An innovative platform redefining how pharma communicates science.
- Flexible remote work environment (U.S. or Europe).
- Competitive base + performance-based incentives.
- Opportunity to shape how the world’s leading pharma companies educate and engage physicians.
