Position Title: Social Media Strategist
Department: Marketing & Communications
Reports To: Marketing Manager / Creative Director
Employment Type: Full-Time (On-site / Remote Hybrid)
Hours: 09:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday
Position Overview
The Social Media Strategist at KEENO WORLDWIDE will play a key role in building, managing, and growing the company’s digital presence across all social platforms. This individual is responsible for translating brand vision, artist identity, and cultural trends into high-performing digital strategies that expand audience reach, deepen engagement, and drive measurable growth in brand awareness, fan loyalty, and sales.
The role combines creative direction, analytics, and marketing intelligence. The strategist will collaborate closely with content creators, designers, producers, and management to ensure every post, story, reel, and campaign reflects KEENO WORLDWIDE’s voice — artistic, authentic, and globally resonant.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy & Planning
- Develop and execute multi-platform social media strategies that align with KEENO WORLDWIDE’s brand objectives, product launches, and artist campaigns.
- Research and implement emerging trends, digital innovations, and audience behaviors to keep the brand ahead of the curve.
- Set KPIs and develop monthly social growth and engagement reports to measure success and inform future strategies.
- Build social calendars that integrate with the company’s marketing campaigns, music releases, and events.
Content Management
- Oversee the creation and scheduling of content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X (Twitter), YouTube, LinkedIn, and other emerging platforms.
- Collaborate with the creative and production teams to develop visually compelling and emotionally resonant posts, stories, reels, and short-form videos.
- Maintain consistency in brand tone, visual identity, and messaging across all digital touchpoints.
Engagement & Community Building
- Monitor brand conversations, respond to followers, and manage online communities to cultivate a positive and loyal fan base.
- Develop influencer and ambassador partnerships aligned with brand ethos and target demographics.
- Identify and engage with key cultural and industry voices to elevate brand recognition globally.
Analytics & Performance
- Track engagement, reach, conversions, and retention metrics across platforms using tools such as Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, and Hootsuite.
- Prepare and present monthly performance insights and optimization recommendations to the executive team.
- Use data-driven insights to refine targeting, posting times, and content formats for maximum impact.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support
- Partner with marketing, PR, and creative teams to synchronize social efforts with brand campaigns, merchandise drops, and event promotions.
- Assist artists and talent under KEENO WORLDWIDE in optimizing their personal social presence for audience growth and brand alignment.
- Manage social media advertising campaigns, budgets, and audience segmentation.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience managing brand or artist social media platforms, preferably within the entertainment, music, or fashion industries.
- Proven track record of growing engaged online communities and delivering measurable campaign results.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in social management tools (Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Later, Sprout Social, or Buffer).
- Strong understanding of platform algorithms, analytics dashboards, SEO for social media, and audience targeting.
- Experience in content creation and editing (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or CapCut).
- Familiarity with paid advertising on Meta, TikTok, and YouTube platforms.

Pay: R3 500,00 – R5 900,00 per month
