- Input high volumes of data with exceptional accuracy across multiple software platforms
- Prioritize and batch materials to optimize data entry workflows and efficiency
- Process information quickly and accurately from various legal software systems
- Support daily legal operations through systematic data management and organization
- Learn and adapt to firm-specific systems, procedures, and legal workflows
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on data entry experience with demonstrated close attention to detail.
- Proficient working knowledge of internet tools, spreadsheets, Excel, and word processing software.
- Experience with case management software such as Clio, Needles, Filevine, or SmartAdvocate.
- Ability to scan, upload, index, and organize digital files in a structured and consistent manner.
- Comfortable reviewing and processing medical records, billing data, and legal case notes.
- Familiarity with personal injury legal terminology, including accident types, injuries, treatments, liens, and settlements.
- Ability to accurately enter client intake information, medical provider details, insurance policy information, and case status updates.
- Strong understanding of and compliance with confidentiality requirements, including HIPAA standards.
- Ability to work extended periods seated and perform continuous computer-based tasks.
- Strong task prioritization skills in a fast-paced legal environment.
- Associate’s degree or completion of legal studies coursework preferred.
- Prior experience as a Data Entry Clerk within a law firm environment is preferred.
