We are a growing technology company with a dynamic and innovative culture. Our finance team plays a critical role in ensuring smooth business operations and financial control. We are now seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Credit Controller to join our small but high-performing finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end credit control function, including monitoring customer accounts, credit limits, and collections.
• Proactively follow up on outstanding invoices via phone, email, and written communication to ensure timely payments.
• Liaise with internal teams (sales, operations, customer service) to resolve payment queries and disputes efficiently.
• Prepare and maintain aged debtor reports and other relevant reports for the Finance Manager and senior management.
• Carry out customer account reconciliations and ensure accurate allocation of receipts.
• Identify potential bad debts and escalate concerns promptly.
• Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce debtor days.
• Support the Finance Manager with ad-hoc reporting and administrative tasks as required.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a credit control or accounts receivable role.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and internal teams.
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote/home-based role.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and comfortable working with financial systems.
• Experience with Xero or Salesforce is an advantage, but not essential.
