Contentellect Content Quality Manager Role
Are you passionate about crafting high-quality content that engages readers and ranks on search engines? As our Content Quality Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring that every blog post we deliver meets top-tier editorial standards, aligns with client brand guidelines, and drives real results.
In this role, you’ll review, edit, and optimize content while collaborating closely with writers and providing feedback to them to refine clarity, consistency, and impact. If you’re detail-oriented, passionate about content, and eager to shape high-performing blog articles, this is the role for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and edit content to make sure it meets quality standards.
- Ensure adherence to the client brand voice, style guidelines, and SEO best practices.
- Conduct thorough editing and fact-checking to maintain accuracy and credibility.
- Provide constructive feedback to writers to improve content quality.
- Optimize existing content for performance, readability, and engagement.
- Take on client feedback and communicate it to writers.
- Work closely with Account Managers to ensure smooth delivery of content orders.
- Collaborate with the Head of Content to continuously improve content quality and editorial processes.
Requirements & Skills:
- Experience in content editing, copywriting, or content marketing.
- Strong editorial, proofreading, and copy-editing skills.
- Understanding of SEO, readability, and user engagement best practices.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication skills.

- Quarterly in-person meet ups with the Cape Town-based team.

- A base salary that is reviewed every year.
- A discretionary bonus structure to reward and recognise hard work and contributions on a monthly basis.
This is a full-time contractor role with a 2-month probationary period to assess performance and alignment with company goals.
