About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized, execution-focused Content Manager to own and implement a comprehensive omnichannel marketing content ecosystem across all online and offline channels. This role demands a strategic storyteller with extensive MarCom experience who can orchestrate complex, multi-platform campaigns while maintaining narrative precision in execution across Patriot Holdings’ diverse portfolio of businesses.
This is not an ideation-only role — it demands exceptional writing ability, strategic thinking, campaign execution, content creation, content distribution, and measurable performance. The ideal candidate will be a natural, digital-marketing-savvy copywriter who thrives on creating order through creative content systemization while maintaining fluidity across competing priorities and multiple business lines.
Core Scope
Holistic Marketing Ownership: Complete ownership of a unified content calendar that maps all communications across all channels — from digital marketing (email, social, web) to offline marketing (direct mail, print collateral, events). Ideally, this person understands the nuances of account-based marketing and sales enablement through the lens of strategic content creation. This includes:
- Email Marketing: Beyond newsletters — nurture sequences, drip campaigns, targeted lead generation campaigns by ICP (Ideal Customer Profile), educational content, subliminal selling, and direct selling initiatives
- Social Media Management: LinkedIn, Instagram, Reddit, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube — with fluency in viral content identification and platform-specific optimization
- Content Creation & Distribution: Podcast production, short-form clips, long-form content, thought leadership pieces, blog posts, landing pages, lead magnets (guides, e-books, etc.), website content, webinars, live events
- Offline Marketing: Direct mail campaigns, event collateral, print materials, keynote presentations, investor gifting kits
- Strategic Campaign Development: MarCom (Marketing Communications) and DealCom (Deal Communications) narratives plotted across top, middle, and bottom of funnel
Hours Requirement: Must personally commit 40 hours/week — no outsourcing or subcontracting
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Content Management
- Maintain ONE holistic content calendar integrating all channels and business divisions
- Map content strategies to specific ICPs across multiple lines of business
- Develop and execute strategic marketing narratives with appropriate depth for each funnel stage
- Balance gated vs. ungated content, paid vs. organic content strategies
- Coordinate messaging across Patriot Holdings, APS, and other portfolio companies, such as residential communities, industrial assets, etc.
Writing & Creative Excellence
- Serve as primary copywriter across all channels and formats, working with subject matter experts by division to drive meaningful content and KPI-driving campaigning
- Transform complex financial concepts (private equity, real estate, tax strategies) into accessible content
- Create compelling hooks, re-hooks, and substantive content appropriate to channel and audience
- Maintain brand voice consistency while adapting tone for compliance requirements with the assistance of leadership
Content Systemization & Process
- Build and maintain comprehensive distribution playbooks and workflows
- Develop repeatable systems for content repurposing across formats
- Implement naming conventions, version control, and organized asset libraries
- Create automation workflows using tools like Zapier, HubSpot, N8N, , , Sprout Social, OpusClip, , , ChatGPT, Claude, Gamma, SendSpark, HeyReach, etc.
Multi-Platform Execution
- Manage end-to-end distribution across all digital and offline channels
- Optimize content for platform-specific performance (SEO, AEO, GEO, SERP algorithms, platform engagement)
- Coordinate with designers, editors, and vendors for efficient content pipeline
- Oversee lead magnet creation and conversion funnel optimization
- Be willing and able to coach or influence other divisions’ perspective and identity on content creation, campaigning, and lead generation
Analytics & Optimization
- Monitor performance across all channels and campaigns
- Work with leadership to create actionable reporting dashboards with strategic recommendations
- Use data to continuously refine hypotheses and improve strategies
- Test and iterate based on real marketplace feedback
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in content management/ownership, MarCom, marketing operations, or digital marketing agency environment
- Exceptional writing ability — must be articulate and able to write across styles
- Agency background preferred — experience managing competing priorities across multiple clients/verticals
- Proven ability to abstract complex ideas into accessible content
- Strong systemization and project management capabilities
- Proficiency with marketing tools (HubSpot, Sprout, Buffer, Gamma.ai, ChatGPT, Claude, Opus Clip, and others to be named)
- Understanding of hooks, viral content mechanics, and multi-platform distribution
Preferred Experience
- Industry knowledge: Private equity, financial services, or real estate (residential, affordable housing, self-storage, small-bay industrial, light industrial preferred)
- Experience managing content for multiple business divisions simultaneously
- Familiarity with LP (Limited Partner) perspectives and sophisticated investor communications
- Familiarity with direct resident and tenant marketing to fundamentally drive homes sales and leasing activities
- Track record of building and scaling content operations from scratch
- Experience with AI-powered content workflows and automation
- Demonstrated success in both B2B and B2C content strategies

You understand the nuances of when to take a stance versus pursue absolute compliance, when to educate versus sell, and how to adapt messages across the full marketing spectrum (top to bottom funnel, nurture to re-marketing, prospect to returning client/customer). You’re comfortable discussing, or learning the ins and outs of technical topics like cost segregation and REP status one moment, then crafting viral social content that pulls heart strings the next.
You thrive in environments with competing priorities and can fluidly shift between working on Patriot Holdings content, APS materials, and other portfolio company needs throughout your day. Your agency background (ideally) has prepared you to juggle multiple “clients” while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines. Most importantly, you’re a finisher. You take pride in ideations, early execution, and bringing a project over the finish line.
Of equal importance, you’re a self-starter who can take high-level strategic direction from leadership and transform it into executed narratives and campaigns that drive measurable results. You don’t just manage content — you aim to own the entire marketing conversation across every touchpoint, but are not shy when it comes to asking for help, or making recommendations as to how the organization might observe the greatest lift in terms of divisional or cross-functional growth. From planning to execution, you have an informed opinion that you’re willing to share across the organization.
