We are recruiting an experienced CA(SA) to partner with a rapidly growing US-based organisation, taking responsibility for high-level financial oversight while remaining actively involved in day-to-day accounting execution where required. This role is ideal for a commercially minded accountant who combines strong technical finance capability with the ability to roll up their sleeves, build structure, and operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
You will play a key role in improving financial reporting maturity, strengthening controls, and supporting senior leadership with accurate insights and analysis — while also working directly in the detail when needed to ensure operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Reviewing, preparing and presenting accurate financial statements and management reports
- Maintaining strong financial governance, internal controls and compliance frameworks
- Providing strategic financial insights to assist senior leadership decision-making
- Monitoring business performance, cash flow, margins and profitability trends
- Supporting budgeting, re-forecasting, and longer-term financial planning processes
- Identifying and implementing accounting and process improvements
- Overseeing tax, audit, and statutory reporting requirements
- Assisting directly with operational accounting tasks where required
- Partnering closely with US executives and stakeholders across the business
- Ability to attend the office when required
Requirements
- Registered CA(SA)
- 3–10+ years post-articles experience in a commercial finance role
- Strong technical grounding combined with business acumen
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement capability
- Proven ability to balance leadership, review and hands-on execution
- Experience working with international or US-based clients is advantageous
- Availability to work full-time aligned to US Eastern Time (EST)
