We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to help expand our reach and promote our unique educational services.

Job Summary

As the Business Development Manager at Techknowkid, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and increasing revenue by combining sales and marketing strategies. You will identify new business opportunities, build relationships with key stakeholders, and develop comprehensive marketing campaigns to promote our tutoring services. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and marketing, with a passion for education and technology.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in local and regional markets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with schools, educational institutions, and parents.
  • Lead the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals, including presentations and contract negotiations.
  • Develop strategic partnerships to drive business growth and expand market presence.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs

Marketing Strategy:

  • Develop and execute innovative marketing campaigns to promote Techknowkid’s tutoring services.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to create engaging content, including social media, newsletters, and advertisements.
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to adjust marketing strategies and identify areas for growth.
  • Manage online presence, including website content and digital marketing efforts (SEO, social media, email marketing).
  • Plan and execute events, webinars, and community outreach programs to raise brand awareness.

Market Research & Analysis:

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscapes.
  • Analyze sales and marketing performance metrics, providing recommendations to improve results.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably in education, tech, or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, including social media, SEO, and email marketing.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to generating leads and driving growth.
  • Passion for education and technology is a plus.

Commission only, no base salary.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: R2 000,00 – R80 000,00 per month
