Role: Account Manager – Full-time (Remote)
Hours: 09:00am – 5:00pm AEST – Time zone in Sydney NSW, Australia (GMT+10)
Salary: $2000 AUD per month (depending on experience)
Scope of the Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced Account Manager with a strong background in promotions and expertise in CommonSKU. You’ll play a crucial role in managing client relationships, overseeing promotional campaigns, and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily meeting with the team.
- When you learn anything new, write a procedure / system and keep up to date.
- Work with manager to help document systems and procedures in One Note and/or Commonsku.
- Create manual invoices for clients that require purchases made outside branded merchandise
- Manage client accounts and maintain strong relationships.
- Develop and execute promotional strategies using CommonSKU.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver high-quality promotional products.
- Manage sales data, pipeline progress, and key performance indicators, providing routine reports.
- Assist in creating sales presentations and proposals for prospective clients.
- Coordinate order management and ensure accurate record-keeping in CRM systems.
- Maintain positive customer relations by handling support needs promptly.
- Create annual account management plans for Top 10 clients & research the web to find out current information.
- Create list of Email Blast Topics and keep up to date monthly.
- Send emails to clients to see if they’d like to place a repeat order 1 year after order placed.
- Ask questions if you don’t know the answer via Teams.
- Create mock ups in PowerPoint or Canva to show client’s how their logo may look on a product.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years proven experience as an Account Manager in the promotional products industry.
- High proficiency in CommonSKU; utilising the software for 12 months or more (non-negotiable).
- Proficiency in CRM platforms such as ESP, Sage, and HubSpot.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
- Proficient in English
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with clients, suppliers and internal teams.
- Understanding of promotional products, sourcing, and industry trends.
- Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail, ensuring quality control and adherence to client requirements.
- Experience in managing client budgets, providing cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
- Experience in organising client communications, managing inquiries, and prioritising messages.
- Ability to generate reports, analyse sales data, and present key insights to stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on resolving customer complaints professionally.
